Music and Arts at Peace

Music and the arts are crucial to our faith and a vital part of community life at Peace United.  In many and varied ways, we experience God's spirit in the arts -- from great choral music to spirited jazz, from dance in worship to the stunning visual arts.  You're encouraged to see what's possible at Peace United -- and to get involved, express yourself, and find God in the creative movement of your body and spirit!

The Joy of 'Jazz on High'

Lori Rivera & Art Alm
of 'Jazz on High'

JAZZ ON HIGH is Peace United's spirited 'in-house' jazz band: a sextet of Santa Cruz' finest jazz musicians.  Led by Art Alm (keyboards) and Lori Rivera (vocals), the band plays gospel and blues, contemporary improvisations on old favorites, and just about anything at all!  The band also includes Brad Hecht (sax and flute), Zach Olsen (percussion), Steve Uccello (bass) and Renata Bratt (cello).

Wonder, Creativity, Delight!
